Powdersville Boys JV Basketball fell 47-39 at Palmetto in the final game of the season Thursday, February 9, 2017. Patriots and Mustangs played a tight first half with Palmetto up 13-10 at the end of the first quarter, and Powdersville leading 21-20 at the half. Mustangs built up a five-point lead during the third quarter and went on to win by eight points.

Cam Moore led the Patriots with nine points. Powdersville finished the season 8-8 overall, 7-3 in the region. “Our guys worked hard all year,” commented Coach John Paul Humphries. Humphries went on to say, ” They fought hard every game and improved throughout the seasonm. I’m proud of all of them.”
