Ten Powdersville High Boys Track Athletes won one or more events at the Region 2-AAA Track Meet and were named All Region. Congratulations to the following:

Cameron Matthews – Senior – 4×800 Relay
Brendan McManamon – Sophomore – 1600, 3200, 4×800 Relay
Jordan Meekins – Junior – 4×100 Relay, 4×400 Relay
Josh Moore – Senior – 4×800 Relay
Joey Schrippa – Junior – Pole Vault
Micah Schultz – Senior – 200, 400, 4×100 Relay, 4×400 Relay
Schultz was named Region Track Athlete of the Year.
Members of the 4×400 Relay team – Booth, Hill, Meekins, and Schultz – were also named to the first squad of The Greenville News All-Upstate team. Senior Ethan Williams, who finished second at the Region Meet in both Discus and Shot, was named to the second squad of The Greenville News All-Upstate team.
The Greenville News will recognize All-Upstate Track athletes at their Sports Awards Program on May 22 at McAlister Auditorium on the campus of Furman University. The red carpet event for the athletes and a reception for their head coaches begin at 6 p.m., and the awards program begins at 7 p.m.
