Meet Recap

Congratulations to Powdersville’s Girls’ Cross-Country team on finishing in third place in the Palmetto Friendly meet on Tuesday, August 29, 2017! Kilee Knight and Avery Mustar led the Lady Patriots with ninth and tenth place finishes in a field of more than 45 runners. Other teams at the event were Palmetto, Brashier Middle College, and Upstate Homeschool.CC_Girls_20170829C

Palmetto’s course in Williamston was a 95% grass and trail course that included a 1/3-mile woods section and one short, but strenuous uphill section. The remainder of the course wound through a gentle down-hill grassy area and ended on the track. Patriot fans had several viewing locations to encourage our runners along the way.
