Congratulations to Powdersville Varsity Baseball on finishing their season in the District Championship game at Seneca on Monday, April 30, 2018.  Patriots won the first game of the double-header 5-3.  Since the tournament was double-elimination, and Seneca won at Powdersville last week 2-1, the title came down to the second game of the double-header, which Seneca won 14-2.

In the first game, Chris Osment pitched the win and Gibson Boyd relieved him in the seventh inning for the save. Leading at the plate were Josh Bookbinder, who batted two for three with three RBIs, plus Gavin Agin and Dylan Desena who each brought in a run. In the second game, Osment hit a double, and Boyd and Agin both scored.

Powdersville finished their run with a region championship, a 19-10 overall record, and a 9-1 region record. What a great season! Best wishes to our seniors in their future endeavors!  Looking forward to seeing our returners back on the diamond next spring!  #OneTeamOneDream!!  #GoPatriots!
