Boys Varsity Wrestling, Coed Varsity Wrestling · Powdersville Varsity Wrestling Finishes 4-1 at Powdersville Duals Tournament


Congratulations to Powdersville Varsity Wrestlers on finishing 4-1 at home in the Powdersville Duals Tournament on Friday, December 21, 2018. Powdersville defeated Greer (AAAAA) 48-33, Greenville (AAAA) 45-27, Easley (AAAAA) 38-33, and Woodmont (AAAAA) 45-36.  Patriots fell to Gilbert (AAA) 45-27, which resulted in a three-way tie.  Powdersville finished third based on tie breaker criteria (most points allowed), even with a head-to-head win over tournament champion Woodmont. Congratulations to the following wrestlers on their wins: Tom Ross, Dylan Brooks, Carson Syvock, Matthew Cain, Nick Wattenbarger, Andrew Bell, Alex Davis, Connor Graham, Garrett Beck, Luke Jordan, Jozmar Rivera, and Clay Davis. Kudos also to Coach Sean Mascaro on his 100th victory as head wrestling coach at Powdersville High.
