Everybody Loves Ethan!  And Ethan Loves Everybody — especially after he scored his first basket as #34 in a Powdersville Patriot JV uniform.  Sophomore Ethan Watson, who has served as Manager for the JV Boys Basketball team this season, dressed out with the team for their final game of the season against Liberty on Monday, February 4, 2019. Watson warmed up, served as a team captain, and started the game under the Patriot basket. A winning tip-off and quick pass put the ball in Watson’s hands, and after a few attempts, he put the ball in the basket.  Pandemonium erupted from the cheerleaders and fans!  JV Coach Austin Anderson, who doubles as one of Watson’s Learning Disabled/Intellectually Disabled assistant teachers, commented “We thought it would be great to have Ethan score.  It was a blessing and magical moment for everyone.”  Way to go Ethan, and way to go, Patriots!  What a night to remember!  #MakingHistoryEverySeason!  #GoPatriots!!
