We had lots to celebrate at our first Booster Club Meeting held last night at the high school. We all know the challenges that the teams and the club have had to overcome this year and we can say we have weathered the storm well. This Covid season left our booster club thinking outside the box for how we are going to replace funds that usually come through the sale of memberships, game attendance, and concession sales.
First, thank you to the Powdersville Community for supporting our student-athletes through the purchase of our first Patriot community cookbook. Funds raised so far equal $8,900.00 and we have just 70 cookbooks remaining. The idea to create a cookbook was suggested and the group ran with it. Special thanks to Christina Brooks, Stacey Kreger, Cheryl Hurst, Carrie Brancato, and Jennifer Page who worked tirelessly to see this come to fruition. It turned out great!
We can also celebrate the $5,800.00 raised through the Sprint to the Hills fundraiser. That is 100% profit for us with special thanks to Foothills Sports for donating the mule and supporting our athletes!
We also had a lot to celebrate with the success of our student-athletes! Multiple region championships and state championships along with all-state honors for several athletes leading into a spring season that is already off to a great success!
We are so proud of you Patriots!
